What I did in November, 2006...

11-26-06: 11-9-06: New bio!! I translated a bio for Totentanz & it was pretty long & well... 2 places tripped me up a bit, one I just ignore, haha, but the second I just said I didn't know what the hell it meant ;) But that bio is for Marla... I hope they don't mind that it's a veeeery loose translation!! Well, it started more literal but, you know... well, whatever, aaanyway!! Hope that's good, go check them out!!! :D Mikki 11-7-06: I just added a currency converter to the main page!!! & moved the Yahoo groups link & our tracker to the menu... That converter is soooo cool!!! I learned that 7 Bahraini Dinars are worth 39878 Belarusian Rubles!! Granted, this is not need to know information, I don't even know where those places are but... who cares!! It's COOL!! Oh yes, I am very excited by my currency converter!! Well, before I get carried away.. just wanted to mention that new option to our page... if you ever need to know the conversion for monetary units, you just need to come my way!! ;) Mikki 11-6-06: Yay!! This is an important month because it is Radio Goethe's 10th year anniversary!!! That is a long fricking time & I think it is a GREAT accomplishment that Arndt Peltner has managed to keep this show alive for this length of time!! I mean, it's an excellent show!!! But in our American culture sometimes things like this don't get the attention they should, but his show has & I couldn't be happier!! Well done Arndt!! & in celebration of this great event, my friend, Greg, took on the task of writing some interview questions for our favorite, hardworking, German DJ/journalist!! So a new interview (there is also one from 2004) is now up HERE so please go check it out & sign the guestbook at the Radio Goethe site because it will enter you in a drawing at the end of the month but make sure you include your e-mail somehow (I know, that is just asking for spam, but there are ways around that!!). Thank you Greg, for doing that interview for me & thank you Arndt for answering his questions but more than anything, for giving us German music every week, for 10 years... you are amazing!!
