What I did in May, 2007...

5-30-07: 5-28-07: Bio for My Own Vendetta has been added & thanks to the band for giving me permission to use it!! :) Check them out!! Mikki 5-24-07: Yes, the goodness continues to flow!! An INTERVIEW this time -yeah!! Jana, the guitarist and singer for KellerChaos was so nice to take the time to answer some of my burning questions so please go read my interview with KellerChaos. Great stuff & go check out the links, listen to them on MySpace & buy their EP!! :) Mikki 5-19-07: Album review for Mongofünf: "Das Letzte Bisschen Heilanstalt" has now been added. I hope you'll check it out, it's a good album!! Mikki 5-18-07: Bios for Sixpieces and Royal Ass Force (What an awesome name!!!) have been added. They were taken directly from MySpace so I don't really get to pat myself on the back or anything but thanx to the bands for allowing me to use them!! :) Mikki 5-15-07: Another thanx to a band for letting me use their bio!! Now up is the bio for Longing For Tomorrow, so go check it out!! :) Mikki 5-13-07: Well, I'd had a request on MySpace to vote for a band at Vainstream-Music. Guess they're having this big band contest, you guys should check out the bands, definately, anyway, the point being, I found this crapload of bands listed & they were almost all German & all had MySpace sites linked. Freaking motherload!! So, I've been going through the list, adding every band I found to the site (except for 4, 2 weren't German, though one was from Switzerland but didn't sing in German so... I'm not sure about them & 2 others had invalid MySpace pages & I wasn't about to go tracking them down..). I also entered friend requests on MySpace so they know I exist & yes, this long story has a point!! Everytime I found a band with an English bio, I'd ask them if I could use it here on the site & so far 3 bands have been totally cool & said that it was no problem SO... Bios for The Bad Days (who, btw, have a song - my fave Bates' song - on the Zimbl Sampler!!), Even If I Fall and DAMNiAM have now been added & I think it's totally awesome that they gave me the OK for that!! Thanx!!! :) Almost done with that list but the S's & T's were a bit daunting so I added everyone else & tomorrow I'll worry about those... Thanx again to the bands for letting me use their bios, that's so helpful!! :) Mikki 5-12-07: Bio is now up for Supernichts. Well, I had a bit of trouble w/ the term "Asi-Pop" until it was explained that it was misspelled & should be "Assi-Pop", right, I knew that!! Once that little misunderstanding was taken care of all was good :) Mikki 5-11-07: This one is for Marla ;) Bio is now up for Hertzton. See? I do stuff now & then!! Mikki 5-10-07: We got a nice guestbook entry from a band that I'd never heard of so I went & checked them out & translated their bio - so go read about Barroom Heroes!!! Well, that was a tiny bit of work but a couple weeks ago I asked a band if I could use their bio on MySpace, because it was in English... They didn't reply so my logic here is that if they were really against it, they'd have said something so... saying nothing at all is practically a yes!! So I stole it!! Bio is also now up for Riefenstahl - w00t!! Like I said, I mean to get some stuff done this month to make up for my last month of slacking... wish me luck!! Later this evening (last post was from around 3am, haha), bio has been added for Faust. Arndt talked me into it but it didn't take much pressure to copy & paste an English bio - yes, I stole it :-/ Might do another tonight, we shall see ;) Mikki 5-7-07: Bio for akt has been written, well, not quite "written", more like copied & pasted, but I got permission so it's all good!! :D Check them out, an interesting band, most definately!! They say 6 strings are too many ;) I have not done crap on this site for ages. That's going to change this month!! I am not going to be such a slacker, I'm going to get some stuff done this month, I promise, so come back & visit now & then there WILL be new band bios & stuff throughout the month!! One more thing that might be of interest: The band, SprottenRock, have just finished releasing all the "parts" of their online album called "Rotten Tapes". It's a bit raw but ALOT of fun!!!
