What we did in May, 2005 (it was a busy month for me!)

5-30-05: Wow, I am just full of criminal activity tonight!!! & all for Marla ;) (She gave me a list of bands that I didn't have on our list & I have just stolen 2 bios from this list...) #2 on today's list of baaaad behaviour is: Pearls of Dew! Well, ok, I suppose, before anyone gets too nervous about my lack of moral conscience, I should mention that, even though I've put these up, I did actually send both bands an e-mail telling them what I'd done so... depending on how friendly these people are... both these bios may be going into the trash bin soon... wish me luck!!! Mikki 5-29-05: Probably the last thing I'll do this month but you never know! Erin wanted me to put up a Staubkind bio & God, I mean I, oops, has granted her wish! You can find it HERE. I suppose that I should mention that I could have made it quite a bit longer, had planned to even, but then noticed that doing so was just silly & repetitive so it's short, explains what's what & doesn't have all that label stuff about how great he is & blah blah... Maybe he is, maybe he's not, you can figure that out on your own I'm sure ;) Oh & yeah, the picture is a little funk-ay... Guess they want everyone to know when people like me go thieving about the net for pics ;) Oh well!!! If anyone has a better one, mail it on over! (preferably not an album cover...) Mikki 5-23-05: Well, it really is kind of the next day but... anyway, I put up another (possibly poorly translated) bio!!! This time for Tinnitus. I don't know if I had heard of this band but they weren't on our list somehow & I got an e-mail the other day saying they should be & they were right!!! (even if it was from the band itself...) I like this band!!!! I'm gonna buy their CD's & trust me, this is NOT always the case!!! So... I think everyone else should go check them out & buy CD's from them also because I think they're pretty good & uhhh... you guys should do everything I say & so... Yeah! Go do that! & let me know what you think!!! *needs sleep* Mikki 5-21-05: Well, today I added a Die Allergie bio that I translated for a friend who is working hard on a fansite for them! I'm sure he'll be done with it fairly soon & I'll definately let you know when it is :) I also added a Selig bio because Tyr thought I should & he's very cool & has helped me alot so... that's why it's there! ;) I have more to translate, I'll do that soon... hopefully not 3 months from now soon... more like... 3 days or a week or... Ok, not longer than a week I hope... you can watch this news page to see how quickly I actually do something & feel free to write me if you don't like the results! Thanx again to Maud, who wanted a home for this interview, & Curt Doernberg for taking the time to do such an in-depth interview & for not minding that it was placed here ;) Don't let their hard work go to waste, go read it!!!! Mikki 5-3-05: Well! Guess what I did today!!! No, really, guess!!! Oh fine... I FINALLY finished linking all the bands I could find!!! From #-Z!!! There were some I couldn't find, not even bios or fansites or anything so... but I tried!!! Well, anyway, no one cares but that's what I did... it felt like an accomplishment to ME anyway!!! :P Mikki |
