What we did in March, 2002... 3-25-02: Another bio added to the grand poob-ah list of German bands. If you guessed I uploaded a synthie pop band, you are right! I mean, what else do I do? However, if you guessed that Melotron was the band added, well I give you mad props. Enjoy! Nick Diak
3-23-02: Two new bands have been added... The first, Lacrimosa was taken from a site that really didn't have the sort of biography I was hoping for but one does what one can :) The second is by a band that... well, I bought their CD at Zia's, they're called Die Schwarzen Schafe which means "the black sheep"... They actually broke up in 1995 so there really is nothing online, though I DID manage to find a pic of a CD cover, so that was cool :) I was kind of worried about a bio w/ no pic :-/ (The bio came from the CD booklet, in case anyone is confused here) Anyway, if anyone finds my Lacrimosa bio lacking, let me know ;) Mikki

3-09-02: I was looking for a Lacrimosa bio... not a simple task & instead found a bio for another band & all in ENGLISH!!!! Brilliant! So Girls Under Glass have been added. Can't believe you didn't nab that one sooner, Nick ;) Hope everyone is enjoying the return of the "club" & will find the time to... SIGN OUR GUESTBOOK! :) Mikki Ok... MUCH later in the day... I've added bios for Alphaville & Goethes Erben. Both are kind of long... The Goethes Erben bio at their site was so long but well written it was VERY hard to delete anything from it :-/ While I'm on the Goethes Erben subject... I don't know why their banner messed up my flags! I've tried all kinds of alignments & it still won't behave! Anyway... Lots of new info at the Alphaville site so check them out periodically... 3-05-02: Not a bio this time but I decided we needed a guestbook since no one ever uses the forum or anything... The link has been added to the main pages & we'll get to the band pages but Yahoo is being really LAME!!! And I have to go to bed, lol! So... whatever... sign our book! Mikki IT'S UP!!!!! 3-04-02: Looking at our February news it looks like we didn't do a whole lot & I suppose that's true... but I had translated stuff on 2 bands just to find out that each one had MORE info on pages now & I have to re-do the stupid things! UUAARRGGH!!!!! (My Wizo quote for the day)... Anyway, yes, Nick & I got to hang in Tucson w/ Jennifer & Dave & Kevin & Jennifer's friend Kathryn & it was tons of fun! Though we'll miss Jennifer terribly *schnüff* :*( Aaaanyway... I'm not here to babble... I do too much of that in my e-mails! New bio is Corvus Corax & don't blame me cuz the picture is lame... check out the site & YOU try to save a proper picture! Go ahead, I dare you all to w/out having to paste things together w/ photoshop or something... It's really weak! Anyway... uh... the club is still in limbo, no idea what's up w/ that so... we'll get back together whenever Yahoo decides to get its head out of it's ass, could be awhile... till next time! Mikki
Looks like I better interject here. Things are getting back on track for DML, as I too have added a bio today for the band Nitefall. So check that out jack! Also, I think is about time for your freindly neighborhood status report. 196 bands are listed in the DML bands databank, 72 bios have been done. So we are 36.36% complete! 3-03-02: Sorry all it has been a while since an update. Last week was hectic with finals, so no updates from me. I did get to hang out with Mikki on thursday as we saw a freind off to New York. I was able to get ahold of a Laibach single while Mikki bought some funky music. PanzerChrist was it Mikki? I think you need to do a bio on them! Anywho, a bio for Reflected Image is up. Huzzah! Another synth pop band graces the databanks of DML. Geesh, how many German synth pop bands are there? Apparently not enought for a synth devil like myself! Well, I bascially got all this week off for spring break, so I'll spend some time making more bios. Hopefully, Yahoo! groups will be all settled out by then, and out club can resume working.
