What I did in June, 2006 (quite a bit!!)...

6-29-06: 6-26-06: Well, I put up a Krieger bio today... I'd finished translating it last night & it sounded like such nonsense that I assumed it was completely incorrect! I even mailed the guy who'd sent me the German version (knowing he wouldn't have time to proofread the thing but that didn't stop me from TRYING anyway) & he just told me to try contacting Jeremy Williams, riiiiiiight!! That's what I'm gonna do!! Pshhh!! Like he's gonna proofread my bios for me!! So I e-mailed the mess (German & English) to Erin & she said it was great!! How can it be great if it makes no sense??? Well, whatever... so it's up & it still makes no sense *shrug*. So that's what I did today!! Actually I also translated another bio but don't have that typed up yet... so I may be adding to this in a bit... until then... Ok... that bio that I promised you is now up. It's for Rummelsnuff. If nothing else, go check out that pic, people!! It's something you'll never forget (much as you'd probably like to, haha!!) Well, it's been a busy day for me!! I was just looking through Nick's Deutsche Musik Forum & found a thread for a band called Grabnebelfürsten. I was pretty sure they weren't on the list so I went to their site & by god they even had an English bio up on there!! So I did what I'm prone to do... I stealthfully snuck in & stole it!!! I'm gonna write them & declare my theft so if they want me to take it down I will but until then a bio for Grabnebelfürsten is now up for your reading enjoyment!! I'd like to add that I don't remember when I have seen a bio written in such good English (by Germans). It's very good, I'm quite impressed!! That said, I think I'm done for the night unless I dig something else up before going off to bed (which is still several hours away...) Cya guys later!! Mikki 6-23-06: Not even 9am & I added a bio for ZEITvertreib. Well, actually this guy named Flo had mailed it to me some time ago but I thought I needed a pic but today I got tired of waiting so I decided to save the one on their main page & crop it or whatever but turns out it saved w/out any text covering it or anything, gah I'm dumb!!! Oh well... there have to be stupid people in the world so everyone else can feel smarter I suppose ;) I also have received my Kind im Magen? stuff so am already working on interview questions!! YAY!! KIM? rules!!! :) If you have any questions let me know!! Mikki 6-18-06: Well, more news that really isn't very interesting, lol. Well, I got a Krieger bio from Pilgrim Management but it's in German & I'm having a bit of a problem focusing while trying to translate it... *sigh* but I'll get on that. I've started it anyway... I also added a new pic for Blutgericht because their drummer just quit the band. Konrad says this isn't something to be worried about so I'm not worried... I also added a link for the band Staub & added the band (loose terminology), Rummelsnuff. Oh yeah & I got this e-mail about some guy called Jonathan Walter so I added him to the list also. Ohhh, my friend, Uli, said to add some of the winners from "Deutschland sucht den Superstar". He gave me some names... I'll add those also but they may not have links for now... if I find any I'll add them, if not, whatever... Elli Erl, , Mike Leon Grosch, Alexander Klaws & Tobias Regner are their names if you're interested ;) That's it for now!! Mikki 6-12-06: Well, this isn't exactly what you'd call earth shaking news but... I didn't like the way the header was on the artist list pages so I... uncentered it... is "uncenter" a word??? Who cares!!! I asked Joki first, he agreed it was better so if you don't like it... it's Joki's fault, haha, j/k!!!! Germany rocked that opening game, btw!!! I'm bored... Like I have nothing to do??? I should be translating stuff!!! Oh, & I added Krieger to the band list.. "artist" list, my bad!! Whatever... & wrote asking for some info... if I get it you'll hear about it ;) Guess that's all the site related (& then some) babble I have for today... Till next time!! Mikki 6-8-06: Wow... guess who is a total moron??? What, me??? Well, yeah... convoluted story... I got myself a new guestbook... I'm really sick of all that fricking stupid ass spam!!! FU people- DIE!!! So, anyway... I did that, lol & Greg reminded me to change the link on the main page & then somehow he noticed that all the links on my genre pages were to the html files which I'd deleted!!!! Good f-ing god, I could have sworn I'd been all over that but... he was right, even on my hd... html.... So after much GRRRRRR-ING & making the use of very colorful colloquialisms... ok... I fixed that & ask you to please sign our new GB... it looks kind of... sad & lonely.. Right then... World Cup tomorrow!! I am so getting up in the morning to watch Germany & Costa Rica!!! Germany's gonna kick their ass!!!! I hope, haha!!!!! Ok, I'm going now... I'll have more for you all soon, I hope ;) Mikki 6-6-06: Yay, it's 666!!! How cool is that??? No, I'm not some Satanist, haha!! Just thought it was cool ;) Well, I've been lazy but my friend Greg was commenting that he thought Tinnitus had been the featured artist for like a year now (well, they're a great band!!) &, while I was impressed that he'd even noticed, lol, I figured that it was, in fact, time to feature someone new... That new band is now Kind im Magen?. I am currently awaiting a package from them & honestly, I can't wait!!! I'm absolutely certain that this is a band I will enjoy after having heard a few songs here & there. I really hope some of you will check them out as well!!! KIM? kick ass!!! Mikki |
