What we did in August, 2005...
Site News:
8-14-05: 8-13-05: Well, I finally found out what was meant by "upload quota exceeded" & didn't have anything to do with bandwidth or whatever I thought... Someone, who will remain unnamed (& who deserves an ass kicking), had a folder that waaaay exceeded our 300MB allowance, by about 1,000MB... But Greg was nice & saved the file before deleting them & I am now at a nice 133MB... Thank you Greg, many hugs!!!!! :) I'm uploading everything now..... Greg's da Man!!!! :D Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that Greg's Die Allergie site is now online &, you can go to that & read their bio & find the link to his site or just go Here!!! It's great :) Mikki 8-12-05: I changed the artist page so one can choose by letters to find the bands they want to read about without first clicking on that stupid "full artist list" thing... Nick had "commented out" by genre list but I am putting it back even though it's incredibly weak, lol! He didn't like that people didn't go to the main list but always complained about bands not being there because it wasn't a certain genre... well, let them complain! Maybe it'll help me figure out what genre to put things under because I'm not very good at that whole genre thing :-/ Mikki 8-11-05: I told Ron from Tinnitus that I'd review their CD's, well, I sort of said that... that's what he thinks I said so I ended up doing so just because he thought I would... Aaanyway... CD reviews for "Auf dem Weg" & "coram publico" are now ready! I actually really hate writing reviews & suck at them very much but... oh well... Mikki 8-5-05: Well, due to some problems, that I really don't fully understand right now, The August news won't actually be up until September because by August 2 our upload quota had been maxed out by quite a bit! I was very annoyed but, what can you do? I'll just make this August news thing as I work & upload it when I can (praying that whoever did this won't do it again next month! It's either a friend making a mistake or a foe, this has not yet been determined...) So... today I translated a bio for Stendal Blast and for Zyklus :N: Main reasons for this were #1: Stendal Blast is playing in San Francisco on October 12 for a show sponsered by Radio Goethe. I plan to be there, btw, & am hoping some of you will be there also, it's at the DNA Lounge. #2: Zyklus :N: signed our guestbook & any bands that sign our guestbook have a special place in my heart even if I've never heard their music! Another band did also that we actually have on our list but I need to e-mail them about a bio because their site has none (& besides this crap w/ the upload thing my internet connection has been SHITE so, no e-mailing on a regular basis it'd appear!)... aaaaanyway... I'll keep this updated & hopefully it'll be up September 1! Mikki |
