The greatest site dedicated to nothing but German musik!!!!! Well... maybe it's not the greatest or the prettiest or the ABSOLUTELY most informative... but we try!!!
This site was created by three friends with one common interest. German Music! We decided that we could possibly create something that would help us (and perhaps others in the world) discover other bands similar to our musical tastes. Therefore, we came up with DeutschMusikLand.com
We like to feature bands that are German. But, also music that is sung in German! So, some of the artists on our list aren't actually German. Some are Swiss or Austrian or even Slovenian, hell we might even someday feature Americans! Though, we'd really protest adding David Hasselhoff to the list, that's just WRONG! Just wanted to clear that up! Anyway...
We have scoured the Internet for German (and German singing) bands. Translated bios for various types of German artists that we're continuously working on (we ARE, we swear!!!!)... We have Fan photos & Marina's awesome Rammstein artwork under Fanstuff and a club/mailing list list is there for those of you who like to post in a forum/e-mail list! We also have interviews (that we did in person or via e-mail) from various groups like In Extremo, Oomph! and many more!
So sign the Guestbook and let us know what you think! We know the links are to the left for all this stuff... we're just... encouraging you to check them out! And don't worry we'll continue to work on the artist list until it's 100% complete and then we'll just keep adding more! Not like we don't do that anyway but... come back because we really are working on this all the time!
Update: The DML now has its own MySpace page. It's ugly & MySpace bites but... hey... just trying to get around you know ;)
One more thing: We have received numerous links for our, sort of, recent addition of "Learning German" to our Links folder... If learning German is of interest to you, please go check those out, maybe they can help :)
Thanks for visiting!
