 The Wirtschaftswunder:The Wirtschaftswunder was an 80ies band whose members came from many backgrounds: they had a singer from Sicily named Angelo Galizia, a Czech guitarist named Tom Dokoupil, a Canadian keyboardist named Mark Pfurtschneller, and a German named Jürgen Beuth on percussions. In 1980, they released 2 singles, Allein and Television. Their first album, Salmobray, came out in 1981. It was an album of experimental and choatic sounds. Two singles, (Der große Mafioso and E´ succeso in Kabul), and two albums, (The Wirtschaftswunder and Tscherwonez), came out in 1982. -Nick Diak 11/02 More at: |
