Syntec:

Syntec is one of those few synthe electro bands that revolutionized the blended music of EBM and synthiepop, but went unnoticed due to other more famous bands. The electro trio of Jens, Ewe and Tobias dominated the dance floors in Europe long before bands like Apoptygma Berzerk has a chance too. Their sound was an enhanced blend of synthie beats with Nitzer Ebb angst. The band only released two albums, The Total Immersion and Upper World. Since Syntec was on the Machinery label, they got production help on their albums from none other than Steve Naghavi of And One and Flux of Oomph!. Of late, the band released a "best of album" called, Eternity - The Best of Syntec on the Synthphony Records label. -Nick Diak 8/02
