 Spunk2003:Spunk2003 was founded in the fall of 2002 by Karsten Z. (vocals, lyrics) and Lars L. (instruments, engineering). Both of whom had previously played in a band called "Spunk" in the mid nineties. In 2003, 23 songs were written and recorded and in December of this same year Paco A. joined the band as drummer. Rehearsals for live performances began in 2004 and the song, "Das Herz" was released on the sampler, "Made in Essen 14" in April. Their first live performance was in May at "Zeche Carl" Essen.
