In, 1995 Daniel Galda and Jörg Hüttner met in Bayreuth, Germany, and formed the music project Skorbut. Daniel was already involved with kAlte fArben. Later he got known for his appearance with das ich. Joerg Huettner started his career with Relatives Menschsein. Known not only for his writing for Dorsetshire and the solo project of the group's singer Monaco X, he also worked as sound designer and guest keyboarder for the goth bands Dreadful Shadows and Ever Eve.

The first Skorbut song release "Fuel", (on the Flatline Compilation Vol.1), instantly became a dancefloor hit. More songs were released on several compilation CDs. The debut album log_in was released in November 2001 on the german record label "Scanner" (SPV). Skorbut then was joined by Robert Pollich and Christoph Morche. Even Ingo Beitz of kAlte fArben got involved in the title song "log_in" as well as in the Nine Inch Nails remix "into the void" released on a "Tribute to NIN" Compilation of the german record label "Zoomica".

Daniel Galda - (lyrics, vox)
Ingo Beitz - (additional production, programming)
Jörg Hüttner - (music, sounds, production)
