 Schweltmerz:Founded in fall 2009 as the voice of the oppressed and downtrodden of South Tyrol and the world, Schweltmerz set out to give punk more weight in the global music scene again. Musical finesse and elegance of language are the magic words that have helped Schweltmerz to pull even the sharpest critics in their spell. Fly on, free bird, fly on ...Band members: Hans-Dieter Schwalmdinger: Likes cigarettes, beer and makes the strongest coffee on earth. He’s the lead-singer of the band and used to play the bass as well until a hand injury in spring 2010 forced the band to look for a new bassplayer. Kevin von Merz: Likes cigarettes and beer too, but prefers enjoying his coffee without having a heart attack. Guitar player from the very beginning. Favours Telecaster and Jazzmaster guitars. Alois Rastner: No smoking, no drinking. Only has coffee from time to time. If he wasn’t the drummer… Adam Frederick Niederkofler: Cigarettes, beer and coffee again.
