 Plastic Assault:Plastic Assault is one of the newest EBM-Industrial acts to hit the German club scene. The band mixes hard EBM rhythms with bad movie samples and brutal vocals. This shows in such songs like "Crackhead", "Splat!" and "Shotgun Blast" which is off their first album We Score.We Score was released on the Bloodline label in Mid May, just 3 months after the band signed to the label. Barely a week later, the album soared to number 15 on the DAC charts of Germany. In June, the album reached the #5 posistion. Some Plastic Assault songs have been able to appear on various compliation CDs, such as The Best of Bloodline vol. 3, and Access One from the Zoomshot label. It should also be noted that a Plastic Assault song sample caused much confusion for Front Line Assembly fans back in 2001. Seems alot of fans though the sample of the Plastic Assault song, The Bite, was in fact a song for a new Front Line Assembly song. Currently, the band is allowing more of their tracks to grace compliation CDs, the newest one being an appearing on the CD Club Bizzare 2. -Nick Diak 4/02 More at: |
