Organisation:

Before forming the infamous techno-pop act Kraftwerk, Florian Schneider-Esleben and Ralf Hütter had a band called Organisation. Started at an academy of arts at Remschied, the band become a mass of sound mixtures and rythms, playing at differnt colleges and art galleries. In 1970, Organisation released their first and only album, Tone Float. The music on the 5-track album was a jumble of different instruments, (organs, flutes, violins, bongos, and bass), with looping patterns of percussion. The album failed to sell well, but it did set Ralf on Florian on the strait and narrow course to create Kraftwerk. -Nick Diak 1/02
