Géraldine Götz-Burri, AKA, Géraldine Olivier was born in Switzerland, June 5, 1967. Her international singing career began in 1986 when, as soloist for "La Chanson des 4 Saisons", she represented her country at the World Fair in Vancouver, Canada. Sometime later, working as a diplomatic secretary, she was sent to Japan & it was here, of all places, where she first made contact with the professional music scene during a diplomatic funtion of fellow countrymen. In memory of the "land of the rising sun", the song, "Soleil, Soleil" emerged with which she won the Swiss preliminaries at the "Grand Prix Eurovision" in 1992. Three years later, however, occurred her real breakthrough when she won the "Grand Prix der Volkmusik" in Vienna, Austria with the song, "Nimm mir wieder einmal Zeit". The album of the same name went gold in Switzerland, Austria & Germany.

Géraldine Olivier hopes to one day conquer the French music scene as well & perhaps follow in the footsteps of her idol, Mireille Mathieu. Loving children above all else, she's involved in projects such as "Tour der Hoffnung" & "Aktion Telethon" which raises money for sick children.

Her 5th solo production, "Und die Welt wird sich dreh'n" came out in 2002. -Mikki 5/02
