Neuroticfish is a relatively newer electro-pop to hit the German music scene. The project was started in 1999, and to this day has only had one member: Sascha Mario Klein. His debut single, M.F.A.P.L.,secured him a spot in the alternative charts, allowing Neuroticfish to remain on them for 8 weeks.

Just as successful as this single was the first Neuroticfish album, No Instruments. Neutroticfish would sign to the Bloodline record label, giving them a single, (Velocity N1), a re-release of No Instruments, and an EP, (Wake Me Up). Wake Me Up, like many other Neuroticfish released, would find a high ranking on the German Alternative Charts (DAC).

In late 2001, a new EP called Sushi was released. At the same time, Neuroticfish did a remix of the DE/vision song, "Heart-shaped tumor". A short time later, Neuroticfish would leave the Bloodline label, and join the Strangeways Label.

Currently, the band is working on a new single, (Prostitute), and album, (Les Chansons Neurotiques) which are to be released this summer. -Nick Diak 4/02
