Morbid Mind:

Slightly edited from their homepage:

MORBiD MiND - the name is a manifesto

The singer: a schizophrenic psycho saved by the band from vegetating straight-jacketed in padded cells...
The two guitarists: a little pseudo-dictator, flaunting the stage as the band's Rumpelstiltskin and a hobby rabbit-breeder way beyond the age of thirty, whose incipient alopecia is evidence of his being annoyed at the band to the point of distraction?
The drummer: a joker-poker-face with a permanent moronic smirk pinned to his jug-eared knob?
The bass-guitarist: a massive giant with a devastating tendency towards orgiastic violence!

What makes this weird crowd of dichotomies stick together? It's their love of music, their fancy for hard sounds, it's the heart-felt necessity to shout out everyday frustration and the thunderous outburst of pent-up inner energies.

The musical style of the band is according. Heavy, non-scrolled guitar-reefs, supplemented by catchy and energetic plainsong shape their straight metal style. As it is produced exceedingly phat and straightforward, the disc claims excessive head-banging of each guitar-enthusiast!!!

By numerous gigs MORBiD MiND have already gained an allegiant fan-club. As a support for bands like Zimmers Hole from Canada and Finnish Snakegod they successfully stood their ground beside internationally acknowledged acts repeatedly.

In 2002, the band attracted attention at the European-wide band contest Emergenza. Giving proof of their delight in playing and of their excellent musical qualities MORBiD MiND successfully made their way through the preliminary rounds to the finals in Berlin's Columbiahalle. In 2005 MORBiD MiND enthused the international audience at the Metal Showcase at the Popkomm Music exhibition and further prooved the quality of their live shows by playing numerous gigs in Germany and Poland. This same year, the band launched their third album "Ragin' deep inside". Among groovy and monstrous reefs as "Run" and fast and impulsive songs ("Voices of Despair") their long-player also contained melodic metal tracks as catchy "Justice". The year 2007 is dominated by the work on the successor for "Ragin' Deep Inside". -Mikki 5/08
