 Mnemonic:Mnemonic is an industrial duo from Germany striving to perfect their sound of intelligent ambient industrial music. Distorted German vocals, driving beats, and surrealistic-atmospheric music are the mainstay of the Mnemonic’s music.The band was formed in 1994 with members Sebastian Schulz (vox & production) and Michael Belletz (lyrics, vox, & programming). The band released several self produced demos, but it wasn’t until they signed to the Alfa Matrix label that they released their debut album Identifikationsstörung in November, 2001. Early 2002 saw the release of the Mnemonic single A Day On My Own, complete with a remix of industrial legends Haujobb. In July 2004, Mnemonic released their second album entitled Konstruktive Vergangenheitsbewältigung also on Alfa Matrix. This release also came in a special limited edition version with a slew of extra remixes.
