eXTReMe Tracker

After nearly half a year the "Lieder, die wie Wunden bluten" - demo was recorded on a broken 4 Track MD-recorder and sent out to some record companies. One was given to Richard Lederer (DIE VERBANNTEN KINDER EVAS, SUMMONING) who played it to his label boss, Oliver Falk (formerly MOS Records). At the first ever concert in the end of 1996. Oliver came from Liechtenstein to sign a contract with the band. The outcome of all this was L'ĀME IMMORTELLE's debut album "Lieder, die wie Wunden bluten", released in October 1997. The song "Life will never be the same again" became and still is a club hit in Germany and so the whole album sold very well.

After some concerts and a lot of work in 1997 and 1998, L'ĀME IMMORTELLE entered the studio again in summer 1998 to record their 2nd album "In einer Zukunft aus Tränen und Stahl", which reflected a more complex and aggressive style of L'ĀME IMMORTELLE's music. Especially the songs "Bitterkeit" and "Love is Lost" were very successful and so the fans were not disappointed. The album even went into the German Alternative Charts for 6 weeks with the best ranking on 12th position.

Another milestone in the future of L'ĀME IMMORTELLE was the signing of a booking and publishing contract with DRAKKAR Entertainment, which opened a lot of new doors for L'ĀME IMMORTELLE.

In spring of 1999 L'ĀME IMMORTELLE went on tour with CHRISTIAN DEATH and for this occasion the "Tour CD" was issued, a special CD containing 4 unreleased songs, hand-numbered and hand-signed, in a limited edition of 500 copies. This tour was the first time were they met Alex Storm of TRINITY Records. The band got along with him very well and so they started talking. The contract with MOS Records has already ran out and so L'ĀME IMMORTELLE decided to change to TRINITY Records to release their 3rd Album, "Wenn der letzte Schatten fällt" which was to become L'ĀME IMMORTELLE's Masterpiece. The overall sound of the album itself was more atmospheric and Sonja's voice was incorporated in most of the songs. The second CD contained in this Box-Set featured remixes by friends of L'ĀME IMMORTELLE namely Raoul Roucka (NOISEX), Bruno Kramm (DAS ICH) and Reza Udhin (INERTIA) as well as a unreleased song called "Echoes" and a song of the Tour CD.

A new single, "Tiefster Winter" is due out in November of 2000 & is being produced by John A. Rivers (producer of DEAD CAN DANCE & PAUL WELLER). The new sound features synthesizers, strings and electric guitars, that are only decorated with electronic effects, not dominated by them.
