Karl Bartos:

Karl Bartos fame comes from being a core member of the group Kraftwerk from the 1970ies through the 80ies, appearing on everything from Radio-Activity to Electric Cafe. He has co-written such Kraftwerk songs as "The Robots", "The Model", "Pocket Calculator", and "Tour de France". He has even sung the vocals for "The Telephone Call" which appears on Electric Cafe.

Karl Bartos is also a classically trained dummer and keyboarder left Kraftwerk in the 80ies because of the group's slow pace and the reduction of his activities within the group. He has since then been an author, a collaborator with other bands, (such as OMD and even Deine Lakaien), and has had a solo career.

In 2000, Karl Bartos released a single, 15 Minutes of Fame. The song was previously an unreleased Kraftwerk song.
