eXTReMe Tracker

Headcrash started in 1992 as a project of mixing guitars with electronic programming. The band cosists of Shane Cooper (vocals), Allen James Wright Jr. (vocals), Herwig Mayzner (guitars and programming), Roger Ingenthron (guitars), Otto can Alpehn (bass), and Matthias Liebetruth.

Their first release was an EP called Scapegoat in 1993. A year later, their first album, Direction of Correctness followed. Overdose on Tradition followed in 1995. Work on their newest album began in early 1997. By October of the same year, around 35 songs were written for the new album. Ten of these songs made the record, along with an additional four becoming musical interludes. The new album was released in 1998 as Lifeboat, named after a song on the CD that moved the band so much.

Of note, Herwig Mayzner did the "Headcrashed-remix" for Das Weisse Licht MCD by the infamous German band, Oomph!. -Nick Diak 4/01
