  Floating Point was created by Jörg in 1998 as a solo synthpop project. The synthpop project gained some fame by opening for the reknown band Obsc(y)re in December of 1998. A 14 track promo CD entited Love and Pain was released by Floating Point. There are also a few compliation albums that contain Floating Point material, such as Modern Entertainment Sampler Volume 4 which included their song Tell Me. 1999 saw the addition of 2 new members to Floating Point, Christian Hinske and Claudia Bühring. However in 2001, both of them left the band. Currently Floating Point is in the studio recording new material for a potential album. -Nick Diak 12/01 More at: |
