DevilsKiss:
Taken from their MySpace page:

DevilsKiss was formed in 2000 by lead singer Ron (former member and keyboarder of the synth pop band AREA|51) actually as a solo project. AREA|51 buddy Sea supported him with the guitar.

In 2003 the track 'Der Teufel' was produced by Louis Manke in FearSection Studio Berlin wich was also the winning song of the 'Battle of the Bands' contest of the German music magazine 'Sonic Seducer'. Later that year, drummer Fre/Hanzel joined the band and, in the summer of 2004, bass player Dig (former member of German death metal band 'Necropsy') followed him - at this time DevilsKiss became a 'classic' rock band with real instruments.

In autumn of 2004, the band entered the FearSection Studio again to record their first 4-track EP 'Flammenmahl'. With their first gigs in the spring of 2005, as support of 'Unheilig' and 'Tanzwut', the band got very good reviews and won new fans.

In January, 2006, Sea decided to leave the band so DK looked out for a new man on the guitar and they found in Jordi (former member of spanish bands 'Black Tear' and 'Wasamba') a multifaceted guitar player who was very quickly involved and inspired the whole band.

After playing at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig at Whitsun in 2006, Fre and Dig left the band to follow their own musical ideas. They were replaced by drummer Micha and bass player Ben (who is also active with the Berlin-based metal-band Morbid Mind), yielding DevilsKiss in a new line-up with new energy, working on the songs for their first album which will be recorded early 2007.

If you want to order the 'FLAMMENMAHL' EP go to www.fearsection-shop.de or visit the official band website. -Mikki 5/08
