  In 1985, Alexander Veljanov and Ernst Horn formed the dark wave/synth band Deine Lakaien. Their 1st Album finnally got attention by a record company in 1990, which allowed them to release a much successful second album Dark Star with tour. Two more albums were released before 1999, Acoustic a live album of sold out concerts and Winter Fish Testosterone. After that last album, the band went to do solo projects and play with other bands. At this time, Deine Lakaien is virtually unknown in Amerika, but the 1999 released of Kosmodiah with the song Into my Arms brought them some attention here. Kasmodiah entered the German charts at number 4. The band has just recently released a new MCD entitled Generators. -Nick Diak 11/01 More at: |
