DAMNiAM:

In November 2005 four guys from Münster/Germany decided to pull together a band after several years of experimenting and honing their sound. This band should represent all of their experiences they have made by playing gigs from Berlin to Barcelona and which they have made in their former bands. DAMNiAM was born. Right from the start they knew they had to play that kind of music that has connected them over the last years: Skatepunk. But it ain’t exactly like that and this is where it was gettin’ interesting: Combining all their experiences they have gained in their old bands adding hardcore-,metal-,rock’n’roll- and emo-influences, they created a sound they all could appreciate and build on. With vocals reaching from melodic, almost pop-like refrains to screaming parts they want to show all those hardcore tough guys out there who's got the pants in the family. Their second EP "...so i called her thundercat" was recorded DIY at the rehearsal room in September 2006. Aggressive songs like "Fast And Furious" with lyrics criticizing our society build a contrast to songs like "Still The Same" dealing with the relationship to an old friend or most obviously the ballad "Whatever You See" which is showing that also Germans have emotions or at least are able to present them to the public ear. Knowing that actions speak louder than words they offer a furious, uncompromising, multisided and most of all authentic live-show.
