Musician and singer Christian Otte started his first solo project in the middle of 2006 and called it following his initials plain and simple C.H.O.T. At first were different rock and pop songs single-handedly created partly in German and striking language, which were composed primarily with the acoustic guitar.The musical genre defines the musician as "alternative acoustic rock".

In company with recording studio owner (another level studio) and guitarist Amadeus Sektas the first songs were recorded and the allrounder joined the project at the end of 2006 as regular band member. The duo knew to realize and bring down the own musical targets and wishes to a common denominator. Apart from any trends were challenging songs created, which you can characterize absolutely as grown-up. Drummer Max Radloff joined the project in February 2007 and the planned solo project changed into the band projekt C.H.O.T!

With the entry of Markus "Exe" Exner on the electric guitar the music finally got its own note. Gianni Dedola on bass arranged at first as "stand-in" for the deeper tones, to play the debut concert on the 2. of September 2007 at Kaarst Total. After that the band went back to the recording studio to complete the debut album "Die Zeit sind wir". The recordings were finished in November 2007 and Joerg Schmidt (Stones Tribute Band, Still On a Misson) joined the project as bassist. -Mikki 10/08
