Certisane:

Certisane is... pure energy and emotion. The band, which after numerous line-up changes has been in it's current formation since 2004, have been enthusing the German public since 2002. After many high and low moments the band finally found in 2004 a young and ambitious guitar player in Felix M., who provides powerful and melodic riffs. These riffs are underlied by Benedikt v. S on bass who vigorously plays with feeling and the necessary hardness. This is all accompanied by Volker H., the oldest of the band, who supplies the necessary brutal touch on drums. The keyboard, attended to by keymaster Christian K., which often suggests a gothic band, is here as beat provider, supplying melodies in intros and song backgrounds. They are all supported by Sebastian P.'s memorable, emotional and meaningful shoutings and overwhelming screams, using leading singing sections and speech singing to bring hardness and emotion to the lyrics as a whole. Despite few initial appearances, Certisane played in 2004/2005 with unbelievable reactions and led them to take part on the stage with some of Germany's big stars such as Megaherz and Crosscut, amongst others -Mikki 7/05
