![]() ![]() Camouflage was formed in 1981 by Heiko Maile, Oliver Kreyssig, and Marcus Meyn. The 1988 single release of The Great Commandment brought them worldwide fame and even number spots on the Billboard. Camouflage has released 5 albums of their music since then, (Voices & Images, Methods of Silence, Meanwhile, Bodega Bohemia, and Spice Crackers). However, much turmoil has been experienced in the once popular synth band. Their last album release, Spice Crackers, was back in 1995. A best of compilation album was released in 1997, and later pulled off the market. Oliver left the band in 1991, but returned in 1999 for the band's newest material, the single Thief. Rumours of the new album Sensor are very abundant, and perhaps 2002 will be the year Camouflage to release a new album. -Nick Diak 11/01 More at: |
