![]() Bionic Brit:Given to us by the band, thanx so much!!!:Bionic Brit, which are Cord Bühring (vocals, guitar), Matthias Pages (drums) and Hitte Lütkemüller (bassguitar) all based in Braunschweig/Germany formed in the late summer of 2001. Cord sang and played guitar for the rockbands "amandlou" and "Gayboys in bondage" (no comments on this one, please!) whilst Hitte was giving his deep and groovy bass to the funky "Scam" and the heavy "Liberty Belle". Matze drummed for the "Mapens" and "Missing Link", a well known punkrockband which former members formed up to "Kettcar". With all of the influences they had and the amount of experience they collected it was magic that BIONIC BRIT gave birth. Cord, whose strong emotional vocals catch the ear and heart, found it a priviledge to express himself by using the German as well as the English language. It gives a delightful taste to the lyrics and even literally changing from one to the other leaves the listener in a knowledge that there is no difference between the emotional depths eitherway. Matze has been drumming since he was a kid and it is an experience to watch him. He is definately in love with what he is doing. Last but not least Hitte! You shouldn`t miss the groove that this guy gets out of his bass...he is tremendous. Mixing all this together you are listening to the melodic, unstoppable, elementary sound of BIONIC BRIT. Their first product being BIONIC BRIT was a low-budget self produced EP "a perfect day" that came out in spring 2002. After loads of gigs and being support for "Toni Kater", "Sonnit" or "Die Schröders" they produced their 2nd album "lautspeaker", which followed hand in hand with a management-contract with FAM-E (Freelancer-Artist-Management-Europe).
