Belphegor:

BELPHEGOR emerges as one of the most extreme line ups to ever come out of the death black metal scene. The band members themselves describe their diabolical hell ride as "blasphemed hyperblast aggression", the attributes of hell that strike like the tip of a lance searing the Nazarene's flesh.

Since 1991, these Austrians have established a committed fan base thanks to three excellent full length releases, "The Last Supper" (1995 on Lethal Records), "Blutsabbath" (1997 on Last Episode Records) and the highly acclaimed "Necrodaemon Terrorsathan" (2000 on Last Episode Records). BELPHEGOR's debut strike "The Last Supper" had not been available for years when the band decided to re-release it, due to popular demand, in 1999. This re-issue contains three bonus tracks plus three original tracks from the legendary EP "Obscure and Deep", originally released in 1994.

BELPHEGOR's following release, "Necrodaemon Terrorsathan", featured nine tracks and presented a fast and brutal attack, technical prowess, and a most brutal sound, neatly packaged in blasphemous art.

In 2002, the hyperblast war machine, a.k.a. BELPHEGOR, returned with a release that marked their 10th anniversary. "Infernal Live Orgasm" (on the band’s own Phallelujah Productions) includes a full color 24-page booklet featuring photo collages that document the band's first decade, as well as two new studio tracks: the hate spawning, high-speed, monstrous hymns "Swarm of rats" and "Der Untergang pt. II", eight live recordings of a murderous sound quality and played even faster than on the original studio recordings, two bonus tracks from the legendary demos "Kruzifixion" (1991) and "Bloodbath in Paradise" (1992), and two blasphemous video clips.

In 2003, BELPHEGOR return with their fourth diabolical masterpiece to once again prove that they belong at the pinnacle of the infernal death metal genre. "Lucifer Incestus" takes no prisoners in its high-speed and astoundingly precise execution. Like a tank plundering out of the loudspeakers, BELPHEGOR’s latest work offers a colossal production, track for track, at the hands of Alex Krull (Atrocity, Liv Kristine). This mega blast death metal opus is available in the standard jewel case format, as well as in its limited edition version: 8-page digipack with bonus video. Brutality of the highest calibre!
