Barroom Heroes:

Translated from their bio:

Barroom Heroes - that stands for straight, hard drinking punkrock from Emden / Ostfriesland. Influenced by bands such as Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Cock Sparrer, Ramones, Far from Finished, The Briggs, Social Distortion, Street Dogs and others, Timo (bass/vocals), Sven (guitar/vocals), Timmy (drums/vocals) and Sascha (vocals/guitar) play direct streetpunk but also don't shy away from influences such as hardcore and Oi!. And if the band name leads one to assume otherwise, the Heroes have far more to offer than just dull drinking songs.

Founded in the summer of 2006, the boys have knocked about live on the stages of the republic since January, 2007 and rocked with bands such as Eight Balls, The Detectors, The Young Ones, Discharger, Helga und die Granaten, F-Three, U-Lock-Justice and 2nd District. In March, 2007, the Heroes barricaded themselves in their practice room for days in order to record their first Demo-CD with 13 songs.

In the future, they intend to play as many concerts as possible and, sooner or later, put a complete album on the market in order to fire their sound into the ears of as many people as possible... BEWARE OF THE BARROOM HEROES!!! -Mikki 5/07

Update: Debut album, "...Once it was an Attitude" just came out & it RULES!! 2-09
