Bandaloop:

Bandaloop was founded in 1995 by Sarah (vox, composing, keys) and Electroarnd (programming, keys, composing) in Cologne. Alexander Klick (guitars) would join in 1997, but would leave 3 years later to become a doctor.

In 1998, the band released their first single independantly on their own label entitled Single Zone. Sony Music/Columbia signs Bandaloop to their label in 1998, and work begins on their debut album. During this time, their first real single, Extraordinary, is released and is accompanied with a video that airs on both VIVA II and MTV.

In August 1998, Bandaloop's debut album Aromatik is released. Four months later a second single, Universe of Love is also released for this album.

2000 was a year for Bandaloop to do a club tour, bringing their brand of electro music to live ears. In March, a 3rd single, St. Michel, gets released. Afterwards, Bandaloop leaves the Sony Music/Columbia label.

Work begins in 2001 on Bandaloop's second album. This album, called Twin, was released in 2002 with a single for their song You suck. Nick Diak 04/03
