 ascii.Disko:Kat D.D. Rokk (former guitarist for Slown and also guitarist/keyboarder for Venus Vegas) is the mastermind behind ascii.Disko, an electro band based in Hamburg, Germany. ascii.Disko has a sound of rock and electronica mixed togather, influenced heavily by acid house and techno.ascii.Disko is signed to the German label, L’Age D’Or, and has released two 12" in 2002, titled Einfach and Immer/Strassen. Their selftitled album was licensed to Metropolis Records in October 2003 for release in the USA. Currently ascii.Disko is finishing up some remix works that are to be released later in 2004. One of these remixes is for Tigerbeat, a sophisticated sex rock act that Kat D.D. Rokk also produces. -Nick Diak 05/04 More at: |
