 akt:Taken mostly from their MySpace page:It´s just a short story: there was a goddamned weather when Florian and Peter stood outside and spoke for two hours. Both of them agreed that Peter’s idea of creating a new style of metal without guitars is great – as a result akt was founded in 2004 in Munich (Germany). After many trials with different bass players they came to a fatal conclusion: All a bass player wants is to stand unobtrusively in a dark corner – as if he’d have a chance to be unimportant to the music. Therefore Peter is also playing the bass on the recent album recordings. But Florian and Peter won’t give up, they’re still looking for a good bass player! The singing on this album is performed by Sascha – maybe (hopefully) he’ll join the band permanently. Also they plan to record a second Demo-CD (4track) in the next weeks and they´re planning a complete CD in a better quality for the end of 2007 (this is then for sale)... and they think Sascha is now a real band member... -Mikki 5/07 More at: |
