Abstürzende Brieftauben:

Translated from the Wikipedia page (link below):

Abstürzende Brieftauben (the name being a parody of the well known industrial band, Einstürzende Neubauten), was a Hannover punk band founded in 1983 by Konrad Kittner (vocals, guitar, drums) and Mirco "Micro" Bogumil (vocals guitar and drums). The band was written about many times in the magazine, "Bravo" which helped to make them known outside their local scene. In 1993 they appeared in Hape Kerkeling's film, "Kein Pardon" as two punk cable helpers. Also in 1993, Oliver Rosthal (vocals, drums) joined as the third man in the band and Konrad and Micro could then finally include, besides just guitar, an e-bass as well. In 1997 the band officially broke up but in 2002 got together again for one last concert.

In the night between 11pm and 12am on May 12, 2006, founding member, Konrad Carls (born Kittner) unexpectedly died at the age of 44 of unknown reasons while walking his dog.
